Beer #2 is dressed more revealingly: a bit transparent-leaning, bright dark orange. The head is clean white, velvety and less pronounced but still long-lived. The fragrance is both bolder and less fresh: orange pith, lemon peel and resin. Not a massive bomb though. The flavor composition is interesting: malt, orange, apricot, pine and resin. No alcohol in the taste. Still, something unexpected comes forward... like whitepepper or something. The mouthfeel is medium, zesty, pithy and peely. Marginally lip-glueing, still a bit dry and drying as well as faintly herbal. What's wrong with today? Nor will this meet the expectations. Not the best quality from this brewery. Blaah.
