Tuoksussa paljon tuoretta viikunaa, vaniljaa ja kevyesti rasvaista murotaikinaa. Aika leivosmainen fiilis tulee tuoksun perusteella.
Maku jatkaa viikunaista linjaa tarjoille tuoretta viikunaa ja hieman makeampaa kuivattua viikunaa. Lisäksi suklaata ja kaakaota. Vaniljaa löytyy taustalta hintsusti. Yllättävän kuiva kokonaisuus.
Suht terävä ja pienikuplainen hapotus. Keskivahva runko. Ehkä snadisti vetinen lopussa 🤔

Tasting 3.
Fully foggy, deep dark brown beer with sluggish carbonation builds a cappuccino-colored, velvety head that barely spreads on the surface in the first place. The top becomes quickly flat still. No traces can be found on the wall of the glass.
The nose receives overwhelming fig jam that is -- surprisingly -- almost not sweet at all. Delicate vanilla punches on the taste receptors. As if a bit of lactose, as well. As a matter of fact, there's no lactose among the gustatory elements but it feels like there was. Barley Wine-esque. Or Old Ale-ish.
The taste package is massively appealing. Oh mama! 😍 Hefty fig jam with a pinch of fig peel. A bit of prune mesmerizes my mind and assessment to some extent. Vanilla is less powerful, accompanied by a tad raw chocolate, a suggestion of cacao nibs and chocolate biscuit.
The body is relatively full. The finish follows the same suit as upfront. Fig is unmissable, of course. The aftertaste bakes Christmas pastries with the tastebuds over medium duration.
The mouthfeel is classic, lip-glueing, rather full and turns to the flat side. It's also neatly thick, deep and multidimensional. Once again, intriguing brew indeed! Surprisingly gluggable. 🤎🤎

Strong Alen vuoro ja tasting olut numero 3 🍻.
Tuoksu vaniljainen vähän tammisen puun syinen asteella karamellista makeampaa fibaa.

COUNTRY: USA
ALCOHOL (ABV): 12.5%
COLOUR (EBC): Coffee Brown (80.0)
BITTERS (EBU/IBU): -
SCENT: Lots of resins, malts and some dark fruits.

GREY’S VIEW
American Strong Ale build with four different malts.
Intresting first go. Lots of sweet brown sugar, even more dry figs, some touch of plums and rye with good growing sense of cakeyness. Mouthfeel is lively. Carbonation is almost sharp, but more like bouncy and crystal kind of, funny stuff. Aftertaste is short, a bit blunt, presenting dark drycake, dry figs and cookies.
OTHER NOTES:
Beautifully balanced piece! Piled up with strong and clear flavors.
