Double Dry Hopped Comm Ave
8.2% New England DIPA / Hazy Imperial IPA
With DDH Comm Ave, we build a plush Double IPA base for Citra to shine upon. Pouring a hazy canary yellow, a bounty of fruit-forward aromas jump from the glass. Dank citrus greets the palate first, with big notes of orange juice and grapefruit sorbet making way for a wave of tropicality. Fresh pineapple, mango nectar, and papaya round out each sip. Medium-to-full bodied with a soft approach, DDH Comm Ave finishes with a refreshing moderate bitterness.

BEER: Double Dry Hopped Comm Ave BREWERY: Trillium Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: DIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 8.2% COLOUR (EBC): Monkish Yellow (12.5) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Lemons. Simple. HEAD: Nonexistent. GREY’S VIEW Citra & Columbus DDH DIPA. Ok. I get some familiar stuff. Touch of grains, good amount and soft enough pitay, watermelon, candied sugarcane and hops. Mouthfeel is almost there. Body being medium+, dry hopping staying at nice level, but there is a some feel of rawness in this. Aftertaste is just a slow slide from the main flavours. OTHER NOTES: Decent. Decent. Nice to notice how much Trillium has decreased the amount of dry hops in their beers, god bless to that. CANNED 18/3/2021 TASTED 29/4/2021
