Uuuuu buddy! My new byddy!

A couple of hours layover @ Kastrup. This small Mikkeller bar at the airport is a life saver!! A Danish Wild Ale is a good way to start. 2021 vintage. Hazy orange, like mandarin juice. Impotent carbonation, almost no foam at all. Powerful sour apricot in the fragrance. Also peach, nectarine, wheat and barrel notes. Distantly farmhousey. A highly promising package! Indeed, the beer delivers beautifully on the tongue. I'm spotting bowls of extraordinarily sour apricot, nectarine, orange and mandarin. Wheat does its best to support the fruit cocktail. Oak barrel can't be missed although it merges frictionlessly to the entity. The body is light. Only? Okay, the style probably doesn't enable sturdy bodies, even if barrel aged. The mouthfeel is light, juicy, tart, puckering, barrel aged and relatively tropical. As if it was also marginally funky? An inspiring piece for sure! 💛💛

Vahva, happoinen ja villivatun maku tuntuva, pitkä kypsytys, lähes 3v tynnyrissä. Marjainen ja voimakas ja varsin mainio vaikka ikääntynyt onkin.
