Happy 250th America.
World class bourbon barrel aged stout, the aroma with chocolate and coconut, and the pour is thicc as midnight with virtually no head. The heat of the bourbon is not overwhelming. One very smooth bba stout and the complexity is spot on. Highly recommended if you can get your hands on it.

Alkuun erittäin suklainen barley wine. Rungosta maistuu tynnyri aika hyvin. Pinnalla kevyesti omenaa ja keksiä, myöhemmin vähän vahvemmin kanelia. Kevyt omenapiirakka kantaa pitkälle jälkimakuun, mutta röyhtäykset on tehty suklaasta. Huippua.

This barley wine begins with full-on chocolate. Body has a decent amount of barrel in it. There's a light taste of apple and biscuits on top and a bit stronger cinnamon later on. Mild apple pie flavours carries deep into the aftertaste, but burbs are made of chocolate. Awesome.

This is supposed to be a WC IPA. So let’s see
This is citrusy that leans towards grapefruit and some candied lemon. Has some very light piney resin with a hint+ of dankness to it that shows up as it warms. Hoppy bitterness is light at best. Has just a touch a malt presence but not very distinctive. This has a crispness to it which I don’t usually use in an IPA review.
Overall is it a WC? No from my old asses opinion. I’d say it’s more of a new school IPA style with some minor old school WC attributes. It’s just not hoppy enough or malty enough. Given that it did have a nice taste and a surprising crisp finish to i still rated it decently. I did enjoy and wouldn’t pass up.
Canned 1/29/26.
