Hauska hedelmäcocktail, humalayhdistelmä iskee vasta jälkimaussa

Väriltään hiukan kuparihtava ja kellertävän sävyinen. Kaataessa teki melko ruman ja runsaan vaahdon. Vaahto on tiivihköä ja sienimäistä tai matomaista. Tuoksultaan hiukan ehkä paahdetta ja mausteisuutta ja no ehkä bitteriä. Maultaan mausteinen ja hiukan bitterinen. Muistuttaa hiukan brittiläistä bitteriä mutta ei niin hyökkäävä. Jälkimakuun jää selkeetä viipyilevää kitkeryyttä. Suutuntuma on pehmeä ja helposti juotava. Tässä se potku alkaa jälkimaussa mikä voimistuu vähitellen jopa melkoisen kitkeräksi. Alkoholi ei maistu mutta on vahvahko varsinki loppumaku. Petollinen olut kun helposti kumottava ja alku menee kuin vettä vaan mutta sen jälkeen kostautuu. Ei ehkä kuitenkaan vauvasuille jollei halua testata bitteriä niin siihen tää on hyvä ensiaskel. Suosittelen bitterien ystäville. Ite en ipaksi sanoisi mutta kyllä tästä saa ipan piirteitä ja ehkä vääntämällä väännettyä ipan. Jatkoon kai vaikka se on siinä ja tässä. Unohtakkaa nyt mä tämän kekkasin tämän maku metsäinen ja havuinen ipa. En poista mun alkuanalyysiä koska jos siellä on jotain osuvia piirteitä mutta siis on metsäinen ja hyvin saman tyylinen kun mun aiempi usalainen havu ipa. On hyvää ja nyt tiedän että jatkoon!

We are spending a few more days in Texas so another beer at Whiskey River Ranch. This is from Alesmiths Speedway series. Dark with coaco and booze. Its leaving a tan ring inside the snifter. Intense flavors of those cacao nibs, coffee, and alcohol. Super sweet but none of the Karo syrup or pie crust. Tiny breath of pecan late in the finish but not enough to save this beer. Good beer.....however, its not giving us the product on the can. Thats disappointing.

At the rental house next door to the Whiskey River Ranch with family. Enjoying this imperial Stout with Ryan and my son. All of the Speedways are interesting and all seem to be 12%. Poured into a fancy beer glass with moderate high head, deep brown color. Disappears quickly. Blackberry aroma, faint milk chocolate, and boozy. Flavor brings a different story. At first the blackberry is powerful, crisp, not near as sweet as I was expecting. It combines with the alcohol and together they overshade both the chocolate and the vanilla. Second and third shift it seems to give a softer feel and a little bit of the vanilla is easier to find. The finish also has a subtle bitterness, not chocolate bitterness but more of a hops characteristic. Very late in the finish, along with weak blackberry, there might be a very obscured bread quality that was probably encouraged by its blackberry pie name. Overall, good stout, it's interesting, worth trying, but I would not go out of my way to buy another. Not the best Speedway.
