We are spending a few more days in Texas so another beer at Whiskey River Ranch. This is from Alesmiths Speedway series. Dark with coaco and booze. Its leaving a tan ring inside the snifter. Intense flavors of those cacao nibs, coffee, and alcohol. Super sweet but none of the Karo syrup or pie crust. Tiny breath of pecan late in the finish but not enough to save this beer. Good beer.....however, its not giving us the product on the can. Thats disappointing.

Poured almost black. Faint chocolate on the nose. For Pecans in the name, you'd think they'd be a bit more predominant. They're there but subdued. Very tasty tho. For $2.25 (USD) an ounce, I opted for a small pour.
