It contains alcohol so technically it's a beer but... It's more 'birthday party fruit punch' than a beer with a fruity taste. If that's your thing, more power to you but it's not for me.

This is sweet, juicy and fruity that leans towards tangerine, guava & light pineapple. It’s candied and a bit artificial tasting. Has virtually no hoppy bitterness to it. Has a little burn at 11% but in general it does hide the abv pretty well. Overall with a 19.2 oz can that I’m only 1/2 way thru I’m having a hard time finishing. With each sip it’s getting worse and worse with its rating dropping each sip. Now about 2/3rd’s thru & it’s going to be a drain dump. It’s just not worth it. 13Aug2026 date on the bottom of the can.

New Belgium - VOODOO RANGER Imperial IPA Optik: Bernsteinfarben und klar, also ohne Hefetrübung, mit hoch ausgeprägter Schaumhaube. Duft: Der übliche Hopfenfruchtkorb mit tropischen Anleihen, ohne dabei spezifisch zu werden Geschmack: Der Antrunk ist wuchtig, ein kraftvolles Zusammenspiel aus malzigem Körper, der 9 Volumenprozent und der geballten bitteren Hopfenwucht. (70 IBU lügen nicht) Filigran ist anders, darf man hier aber sowieso nicht erwarten. Im Trinkverlauf arbeitet sich eine Süße in den Vordergrund die die Bittere etwas in die Schranken weist. Von den New Belgium Bieren war ich bisher nie enttäuscht, und auch dieser Tropfen kann überzeugen.
