Lucid, copper beer pours from keg. The top is adorned by a one-finger, latte-colored, silky head that clings onto the wall of the glass when drying. The scent is oversweet malty, cakey and sweet biscuity.
The tongue enjoys hefty sweet malt, bags of biscuit and a bit of cake. The body can be placed between light and light-medium. The aftertaste is no different from upfront, putting forward sweet malt, bread and biscuit.
The mouthfeel is really smooth and soft, somewhat frothy, a little homebrewish and surprisingly lip-glueing. This is actually quite nice but not really an Altbier.
