Interesting. Malty and I even get the hints of blackcurrant mentioned on the official description.
Pretty nice!

Malty and fruity flavours. Reasonable session beer.

A decent drink with a nice malty aroma, creamy mouthfeel, and a pleasant malty taste. Subtle hoppy notes lead to a slight citrusy finish, with a slight bitter aftertaste that is still enjoyable. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale, especially considering the ABV.

Exmoor Beast is a 6.6% strong dark ale, with a bitter-sweet taste of half bitter, half porter. Not all time hall of fame material, but would be tempted to pick up again.

What a delightful dark ale this, first time trying this one and it’s has a slightly sweet taste to it, at 3.8 ABV which is decent enough for this ale, anyone that visits this area then do try this ale 🍺
