Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #2 Canned on 10-19-2023 Bourbon, roasted malts and chocolate in the aroma. Taste has a lot of flavorful bourbon up front, followed by chocolate, oak and roasted malts. The oak has a sort of spiced flavor that's nice (I'm assuming it's from the oak, since there's no adjuncts in this). The body is medium-full with a smooth mouthfeel and low carbonation. I remember a time when this beer was very hot (boozy) fresh and still hot after cellaring. They've found a great balance with this beer, and it's amazing now.
