Chimay is the Belgian beer that inspired Belgian-inspired beers. Brewed by Cistercian monks since 1862 at Scourmont Abbey, Chimay belongs to a community of only 14 Trappist breweries in the world. Chimay’s signature beers include the Grande Réserve (Blue), the Première (Red), the Cinq Cents (Triple / White), and the Dorée (Gold).

Pitkästä aikaa joku Belgialainen jossa on siedettävä alkoholipitoisuus. 😅 Tämä luostariolut on lasissa sameaa ja vaaleankeltaista, pienellä vaahdolla. Maussa tuntuu sitruksista hedelmäisyyttä ja pientä mausteisuutta. Suutuntuma on hieman kuiva ja kitkerä. Ihan kuva ja raikas olut, sopi hyvin jälkiruuaksi.
