This is a little different. It is malty and hoppy. Has a toasted caramel malty taste that hits you right up front and thru-out. Has some earthy and slightly spicy hops that has a rye taste to it. Has a hint of orange citrus. Bitterness is almost medium. The hoppy bite lingers in the mouth. Finishes a little dry. I wasn’t expecting such a dark color. Doing a little research it looks like it is an English style IPA. It’s good. Well balanced. Not the greatest thing I’ve had but like how it is different. I love how the hops linger in the mouth too. My only complaint is the overall taste could be just a tad bit stronger although it did improve a little at the end.

So I’m in my jawn. I’m watching the flyers. They’re beating Ottawa 3-2. They go to the in between periods jawn and I figure I want a beer. I go to my kitchen and open this jawn that I got in my fridge. That’s one tasty jawn. I like it. Figure when the game’s over I might go over to the grocery jawn and grab a couple more.

This runs on the malty side that has dark bread with some caramel/toffee to it. This starts equally hoppy but that fades a bit. Has bit of a strange spicy hops taste to it. Overall nice and a little different tasting than your normal amber style

Has medium+ roasted dark malt taste with a touch of smokiness. Has some very light dark chocolate and hints of caramel. Finishes quite dry. A nice porter.

Has a citrus taste that leans towards orange mainly. Has very light tropical fruit. Has a dry finish. Light bitterness. Overall it is one sided but it is just Citra hop based. Okay but nothing special.

This has a strong, almost over the top, toasted, buttery toffee, slightly nutty, quite sweet (seems a little sugary as it warms) malty taste. Has some earthy, herbal hops but very muted by the malty side. It’s there but you may need to search for it in the taste buds. Overall it’s a sweet malt bomb, even for the style. I don’t think I could drink a lot of these. Too sweet for me.

This is fruity that leans towards melon & white grape with some very light piney resin. Has an almost medium hoppy bite. It’s supposed to be a west coast style but looking towards the future. Tastes more like a hoppy hazy IPA. Very good tho. Enjoyable on the last of our extraordinarily warm November days. 66 degrees today. It has been Sept weather. Watching football in the garage with the door open. Tomorrow back to the 40’s and for the foreseeable future. Ugh
