Happy Friday. Going to have a Pilsner night starting with a non-traditional one. This is a New Zealand style Pilsner.
This is fruity that is mainly tropical. Leans towards passion fruit, pineapple with a mishmash of others with a hint of citrus. Hoppy side almost rivals an IPA with the bitterness at a light+ level. Has a touch of a crackery malt with a hint of bread to it.
Overall, as expected with a NZ pils, it is very hoppy with the malt kind of hidden. It’s not very crisp and is IPA like.
No date on the can.
This was so hoppy I think I need a Warsteiner to cleanse my palate.
