4.7% seasonal ale from this Wiltshire Independent Brewery. Nice colour, caramel, biscuity, nice bitterness on the back of the tongue.

Lost it taste from yrs ago, another beer downgraded with cheap yeast & malts

It’s appropriate to see in the New Year with the beer brewed in my home county! A malty, fruity and hoppy bitter that pours a deep amber colour with a copper hue. Has a mixed range of flavours including a biscuity malt caramel toffee and a smooth malty finish with a dry earthy bitterness.

It's a decent enough drink, but nothing special. It has a nice malty aroma and a malty taste with a subtle spiciness mixed in. It could have had a bit more rum flavor; it's there but very subtle. The finish is bitter, making it a smooth and easy-drinking session ale.
