It’s appropriate to see in the New Year with the beer brewed in my home county! A malty, fruity and hoppy bitter that pours a deep amber colour with a copper hue. Has a mixed range of flavours including a biscuity malt caramel toffee and a smooth malty finish with a dry earthy bitterness.

A very traditional staple English bitter which has been around ages, say no more

A nice pint of bitter whilst watching the Women’s final.

It's listed as the gold version on the Real Ale Finder app, but it clearly isn't. It's the same as the normal 6X you would expect. I was probably a bit harsh with my score before, which is why it has a slightly better rating now. Still, it's a good session ale that's very easy to drink.

First time in a while here and first time in the garden since last year. Sun! Lovely pint here as always.
