Signature Brew
London, England
chevron_leftchevron_right
With the possible exception of football stadiums, music venues offer the worst beer imaginable: the sort of warm industrial lager you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. This is where Signature come in. Sam McGregor, David Riley and Tom Bott (who has family links to Stoke's Titanic brewery) work with musicians to produce beers - very good beers, actually - to be sold at gigs and elsewhere. It sounds like a gimmick but McGregor is insistent that the musicians involved get properly involved in recipe formulation. If that doesn’t float your boat, they also have an excellent line-up of beers in which no musician has been involved, like their session IPA, Roadie.

Had this before didn’t rate it highly… this time it’s joined the very exclusive club of beers that go down the sink…. It hit the glass like it had alka seltzer in it at 1 point I had 95% foam in the glass… there was silt in the foam and lots of sediment in the glass!! It looked like lemon squash and tasted like a nasty shandy!! I’m hoping something was up with this as I find it hard to believe anyone would intentionally brew can and sell this…
