Exactly as it says on the tin but in a very light and restrained way. Described as a “Bourbon Oak Golden Ale”, it’s exactly that. A light and slightly malty body but with a hint of bourbon whiskey and wood. No real showing of hops makes this rather too easy to drink and a bit wishy-washy. Not bad but could have been great if the flavours were bigger and bolder.
