Still a small one for the road. The only reason is the style: this is listed as a Polotmavý. My first ever in Pint Please.
Clear copper is the appearance. The carbonation is oppressed as it creates a tiny-bubbled foamy crown that fails to reach one finger. A neat lace ring lingers on the top anyway.
Caramel malt with a distant hoppy hint is all I can say about the olfactory provision. And the gustatory supply? Caramel merges with remote licorice (eeeh?), peach tea, dried apricot and restrained grass. Not convincing at all.
The body is light. Not a big surprise though. Ends unchanged. The mouthfeel is light, as well, plus tea-like, modestly dry, easy and smooth. Characterless for sure.
Time to retreat. Over and out.

Flight 4/4. Limpid, very dark brown beer with a red hue and a cappuccino-colored head. Surprisingly long retention.
The nose picks a faint roast. Nothing more. The taste is not that roasty though. Or not at all, to be accurate. I rather find licorice, aniseed, dry grass and a resinous twist. A marginal sweet hint enters the scene as if lactose.
The body is light-medium to medium. The tail waves down soon. Feels smooth, light-crisp, moderately dry and drying in the mouth. Crispness is well placed. Actually the most balanced of these four.

Flight 3/4. Hazy, lemon yellow beer with a pure white, minuscule-bubbled head. Shorter retention than in #1 and #2.
Lemon pulp tries to reach my nose but difficulties arise. Not that my nose is too high but the effort just can't carry far enough. Lemon continues on the tastebuds, followed by carambola, pineapple peel and a grassy vibe.
The body is light. What else? Concludes the show just the way it started. The mouthfeel is light, zesty, again dry and drying. Crisp to a certain extent but not massively though. A bit characterless but fairly balanced anyway.

Flight 2/4. Lucid amber beer with a cloud-white fluffy head. Long retention here, as well.
The olfactory sector is narrow and unrecognizable. Not impressive. Piney and resinous dry hops on the tongue, escorted by a malty kick. A bit better than what the scent suggests but I still don't fall in love with this.
The body is light. The end doesn't really differ from upfront. Long tail. The mouthfeel is light, crisp, dry, drying and slightly lip-glueing. Quite classical.

Now time for myself 😅 And a flight, of course.
Flight 1/4. Turbid, deep apricot orange beer with a creamy messy head. Thick, as well. Long retention.
Ripe fruits and resin in the air. Mango and cantaloupe, at least. The tongue receives apricot, mango, cantaloupe, a suggestion of banana, fruit jam and canned mandarin. Lactose maybe? A malty sphere can be detected in the background. Finishes more drying though but alcohol is basically hidden.
The body is full. So is the mouthfeel. Plus strong, very deep and ripe. Turns then crisper, drier and somewhat drying. Lip-glueing all the way through. Manageable, could be much worse.
