Still a small one for the road. The only reason is the style: this is listed as a Polotmavý. My first ever in Pint Please.
Clear copper is the appearance. The carbonation is oppressed as it creates a tiny-bubbled foamy crown that fails to reach one finger. A neat lace ring lingers on the top anyway.
Caramel malt with a distant hoppy hint is all I can say about the olfactory provision. And the gustatory supply? Caramel merges with remote licorice (eeeh?), peach tea, dried apricot and restrained grass. Not convincing at all.
The body is light. Not a big surprise though. Ends unchanged. The mouthfeel is light, as well, plus tea-like, modestly dry, easy and smooth. Characterless for sure.
Time to retreat. Over and out.
