Some of Britain’s traditional brewers have struggled to come to terms with the brave new world of craft beer, but not Fuller’s.
Without discarding their enviable heritage (or legendary marmalade-tinged yeast), they’ve remained up to date, producing interesting beers like the Vintage range, launched in 1997, which is made once a year with “the best malt and hops available at the time” (it says here).
Their regular ales are also high-quality (although there are plenty of bad pints of London Pride out there, largely due to sloppy cellarmanship) with ESB, a beer which has inspired a whole style on the other side of the Atlantic, a true classic.

Day 18. I am normally apprehensive about stout out of a bottle. This little number on the other hand is delicious.

Mitämitä? Vuosikerrat on näköjään keskenään erilaisia. Rusinaa, mausteita ja pientä makeutta. Ihan ku ois käyny jossain sherry-tynnyrissä ja se ei tee tästä parempaa.

After a very awful and overpriced Stella, this is not a bad tasting amber ale and all for the bargain price of £5.50 a bottle 😑. Quite a fruity taste to it which I don’t mind. Lovely pre flight tipple. Get amongst it! Also, YANITED!
