The Kernel Brewery
London, England
chevron_leftchevron_right
Generally regarded as being among Britain's modern brewing elite, and for good reason. Evin O’Riordain and his cohorts have been brewing professionally for the best part of a decade now, and in that time they have helped to change the face of London brewing. The Kernel’s success – based on a combination of powerfully flavoured American-style pale ales and old-school London dark beers, with some superb barrel-aged beers too - has forced a move from the Bermondsey railway arch where it began to another, larger arch further down the line. The brewery is open on Saturday mornings for off-sales only.

Oli herkku. Ei mitään ihmeellistä, mutta juuri sitä mitä odottikin. Puhdas, tasapainoinen, kuiva, pehmeä, vähän kermainen ja helposti juotavaa. Ei kuitenkaan ohut.

A very nice well-balanced, quite light, dry, clean, and extremely easy to drink. A bit like a Black IPA—meaning this is heavily hopped stout.
Maybe a bit too light.

Oikein mukavan tasapainoinen, kevyt, kuiva, puhdas ja tosi helposti juotavaa. Tällainen hieman Black ipamainen, eli voimakkaasti humaloitu stoutti.
Vähän toki saisi olla enemmän runkoa. Kevyt on.

Raikas, karvas, kuiva, havua, greippiä ja ruohoisuutta.
