Hyvää, alko ei maistu, sopivan vahva kuitenkin. Mausta en oikein saa kiinni. Kuin tummaa limppuleipää joisi. Menisi jatkoon jos täältä saisi. Vaihtona eteläsuomesta.

Tumma, valoa vasten punertava olut nopeahkolla vaahdolla.
Tuoksussa kahvia.
Olipa hieno olut saunan päälle, sateen raikastamaan toukokuiseen iltaan 🍺

A couple of morels found in our compound, shouting "pick us up and fry". So did I. 😋
My nightcap wears an opaque, jet black gown. Limited carbonation. A beautiful tawny foam reaches one finger and descends quickly to a messy lace ring on the surface.
Licorice, rye malt, brown sugar and a coffeeish wink find my nose first. And last. No other aromas want to emanate to my nostrils.
The taste profile is packed with flavors, not particularly diverse but really inviting: copious salty licorice, brown sugar, raw cacao powder, cream, a suggestion of espresso and a subdued hoppy tail. Maybe also a proposal of blackcurrant leaf. So lovely!
The body is full. The end lifts licorice, espresso and the hoppy idea a bit higher in the hierarchy although the change from upfront is not substantial.
The sensation is full, deep, intense, desserty, lip-glueing. A very tasty "base IS". One could build a lot of flavor varieties on this.
PS. The morels (or true morels) were superdelicious! Jesus Christ! So velvety, full, nutty, butterscotchy and faintly licoricey. Probably the best mushroom I've ever tasted!!
Unlike false morels (or brain mushrooms) that contain gyromitrin and can kill you if not properly treated, true morels are not poisonous. Just fry them on a pan, add a good pour of cream and season with salt. Ready to be enjoyed. 😋

Musta korkki antaa myönteistä palautetta. Valkoisessa etiketissä jo paljon kokenut ja nähnyt rouva. Ruskea juoma sai päällensä viivamaisen hiekanvärisen vaahdon.
Kuiva alkua. Nopeasti makun nousee lakritsisuudesta hentoon salmiakkiin - kuten toivoinkin. Viinimäisyyttäkin on, mutta se jää melko heikoksi.
7,02 €.

How can four workdays in this week be so freaking long and mentally demanding? I'm glad it's over now. A beer may help 🍻
Black and opaque. Looks bright. A weird looking grayish froth emerges on the top once the little effervescence has settled down. A bit of the content overpours onto the table but not massively though.
Molasses, dark plum peel, caramel and bitter syrup step out of the dark malt shelter. A faint coffeeish twist can additionally be spotted in the air.
The taste offers attractive full flavors: molasses, dark malt, marginally roasted, dark plum, peel as well, bitter caramel, overstayed black coffee and a hint of raw cacao powder. A nice package!
The body is medium-full to full. The finish is a tad bitter and slightly roasty, the elements narrow down somewhat towards the end.
The mouthfeel is medium-full, roasty, relatively deep, first moderately effervescent but flattens down soon, smooth, flavorful. Delivers nicely! Feeling better already.
