This sizeable brewpub just around the corner from Angel Station is clearly intended to appeal to a broader audience than many of your craft-beer venues: it looks like a modern city-centre pub inside. Not a bad thing, by any means, and the beer brewed on site is good. Expect to find four cask ales and three keg beers made on-site (the lager is contract brewed for B&K by Shepherd Neame).

Really impressed with this! An unfiltered Czech-style lager brewed to provide a crisp refreshing experience, commonly using Saaz hops for a classic aroma and a balanced, slightly bitter, yet sweet malty flavour. Notes of biscuit, bread and crackers all lead to a crisp, refreshing finish.

An American-style pale ale with a pale gold appearance and an aromatic hoppy flavour. Very nice!

Spent the afternoon trying out some fab beers in Gloucester, and this is a top session bitter. Has an amber appearance with notes of dried fruits, biscuit, toffee, caramel and a dry finish with a fruity front that becomes more malty.
