Birra in stile, con un piacevole sentore di buccia di limone a rendere il tutto anche più fresco e leggero.
Un'ottima compagnia!

Found this Chicago beer at The Foundry in Rome Georgia. They still have a few good beers but new ownership is lacking. One ingredient, the coffee, it's different in this 2024 edition. The can says Costa Rica Tarrazu San Miguel Coffee. Can looks the same as the 2021 can.
Small dark tan head emerged quickly and then receded just as fast. Opaque black in color. Aroma is giving an alcohol liqueur, sweet, background notes of coffee and chocolate. Texture is light and yet somewhat sticky in the mouth. Coffee appears first, heavily roasted and dark. Then bittersweet dark chocolate, a confectionery light cream which possibly could be described as marshmallow, and a thin blanket of molasses which only builds into the finish where it is joined by a subtle understated cookie. Not really graham cracker.
I've had several S'mores beers now and I'm not impressed by this one. It lost all effervescence quickly. The alcohol was only apparent for a brief moment and never really enhanced the beer. The coffee was excellent but the other flavors never really seemed to blend. I did really appreciate the can which not only gave you the natural ingredients but the malts and hops they used. And there was nothing artificial, I believe they used real ingredients. That said, this is a pretty good beer but I just had my expectations set too high. I was hoping for a high four and got a high three.

Begins with a high frothy head, slowly dissipating. Aroma has a sour citrus smell, notes of clove. Light yellow color. A little hazy and a lot of effervescence. Light and crisp texture gently move you towards a very grassy, lemony flavor combining smoothly with Belgian cloves. Not an overpowering flavor and the finish mild and lasting.
It's refreshing and combining nicely with my chicken dinner but I would not drink this as a standalone beer.
