A well-structured malt-driven beer. The crystal, chocolate and wheat malts bring warmth and body to this festive ale. The plethora of hops build on the chocolatey malt base and add a bittersweet finish. Ideal with mince pies!

Tasty enough

Great colour, nice aroma with a very subtle fruitiness this golden ale is a pleasant drop. There is a bit too much liveliness for me, but a well-balanced floral note gives way to a tasty bitterness, with a slight citrus finish. An interesting golden ale that does well in a bottle, but I'd love the chance to taste a draft pint.
