An amber ale with a name which reflects the fact that the Salcombe estuary is a breeding ground for two species of seahorse. This sweet and smooth ale has a gentle spicy hop character with hints of burnt toffee, caramel and a smoked malty finish.

Very drinkable with subtle sweet&sour aftertaste. Good colour and head, doesn’t come across as heavy which enhances its sessionability.
Recommended. Pint please!🗣️

Decent drink. Nice malty aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice malty taste. Subtle hoppy taste leading to a subtle sweet finish but with a nice bitterness mixed in. Enjoyable drink. Smooth and easy drinking session ale. Just getting a slight caramel aftertaste but still enjoyable

It's not bad but it's not the best bitter I've had.

Not too bad, quite subtle in flavours. Malty beer, pretty inoffensive. A good cause involving sea horses attached to the beer as well.
