This is an “Imperial Stout with lactose and Irish cream flavor” as listed on the can. This is basically a stout with Bailey’s in it. It has an Irish cream, vanilla, chocolate and caramel taste. Obviously sweet. When I poured into a glass it was very thick, almost sludgy. Overall this is a little different. I did like it, a lot. It’s very sweet with maybe being a little overwhelming on the flavor. What they need to do is find a distillery and make a barrel aged version using some Irish whiskey barrels. I would think that would be awesome. No date on the can.

Upea vaahto. Ruskehtavan musta olut, jonka pohjalla paljon ruskeita hippusia, ehkä pähkinää? Maltainen ja suolapähkinäinen tuoksu. Ohuehko suutuntuma, tummakaakaoinen yleiskuva. Alussa taustalla hyvin vadelmaa, josta tulee kohtalaisesti happamuutta. Marjaisuus ohenee hieman loppua kohden. Jälkimaku on kevyen paahteinen ja jättää jauheisen tuntuman, ehkä ne sakat? Ihan ok kokonaisuus, marjoista plussaa, mutta muuten aika perussettiä.

It leaves the can like motor oil and has a chocolate head, moderate in size. Aroma has crisp coffee. Indeed the texture is heavy, has a very easy going creaminess and isn't sticky at all. Plenty of flavor. The can only mentions coffee and almonds but the dominant flavor is definitely a dark milk chocolate. The coffee becomes a little more apparent toward the middle but in a very modest way. Still searching for the almonds but I can't find them. The velvety texture is still it's defining quality. Not a complicated or evolving flavor. Pretty simple actually. Definitely a dessert Stout which I love.
