Raikas ja greippinen

A pre-sauna Tripel. Semicloudy amber is the color. The carbonation is restrained but not lame as it unlocks a clean white, moussy head that exceeds one finger. The long retention maintains the life of the foam for a long time, too. A malty slam in the air. Somewhat bready, a tad biscuity. Mandarin and apricot represent the fruity delegation. Decent hops accompany. Interestingly, this could be a strong Lager, judging by the fragrance. The taste is sweeter than what the scent suggests. Sweet malt, biscuit, modest invert syrup, dry fruit cake, apricot, mandarin, faint resin. No more Lager-like. Marginally too much on the sweet side of the spectrum to my liking, but otherwise enjoyable. The body is medium-full. Works pretty well. The end is composed of the same elements as the actual taste but the alcoholic tang raises its head a bit. It’s almost like the aftertaste was asking to die, made her go straight Carole Baskin; why did he have to wind up such a dirty cheat; now Sloppy Joe’s buried 6 feet deep. The mouthfeel is medium-full, lip-glueing, soft, smooth and fairly strong. The alcoholic vibe steps out of the closet only toward the end. All in all, a tasty star in the Tripel universe.

Ihan jees sitruksinen, mutta pieni väkevän puraisu jälkimakuna ei toimi mulle.

Perinteistä ipaa ja ei niin perinteistä samassa paketissa. Mukavan tukeva perinteikäs runko ja lisänä pikku hedelmäralli. Ei ihan niin hazy kuin väri antaa olettaa mutta hyvää silti.

Oikein nautinnollinen.
