HISTORY Northern Bru is the first Coloured-owned craft beer brewing company established in the Northern Suburbs of the Western Cape, South Africa. It pays homage to the northern communities of locals who are naturally passionate about beer. We have taken the lead by painting a positive picture around this passion, which had no notable identity over the years. With most South African craft beer brands being based in areas around Cape Town’s city centre or in distant farmlands, Northern Bru has established the much-needed middle ground by brewing a product for our people, by our people.
