Thought winter time was over. Washed my car yesterday in 68° weather. It snowed on us today. Going to get a lot colder in the next couple of days. Have to break the winter clothes back out that were already put away.
This Florida American lager has a very light yellow color. Appropriate white head but it did not last. Nice corn malt aroma. This is a very easy drinking sweet beer. Nothing fancy going on. The taste is good and spot on for what a gentle easy-going lager should be. The light corn malt is accompanied by a refined sugar and low effervescence to make it go down very easy and fast. Really good with this pizza. Much better than any of the American big brewery beers.

Duo beer with my son-in-law in Texas. Trying a beer from Gulfport Mississippi, a Belgian wit.
Open the can and the smell is awful. Poured in a glass to reveal a medium-high very white frothy head. Aroma is sour and pungent, not sure I even want to taste it. Color is dark yellow and extremely hazy. Flavor is of the Belgian clove that I expected with strong overtures of lime. Medium intensity flavor. Finish is somewhat bitter and sour.
Turned out to not be as bad as I was expecting after the aroma but I did not really enjoy this beer and would definitely not order another.

Draft from a growler. Medium-sized, tan head. Dark brown opaque color. Texture is thin and light. Flavor is a nice mild but sharp, toasted malt chocolate. Has a little coconut toward the finish. Finish is definitely a soft bitter but not overpowering and doesn't last. Very good.

Very full, very creamy thick head. Strong citrus aroma. Color is yellow and very hazy. Very smooth, lightly carbonated, typical IPA bitterness. Hops is not overpowering and even has a little bit of sweetness to it. Finish has a slight bitterness that lasts a little while, has a dry next to it. Pretty good IPA. Can is a piece of art, I would buy that painting and put it on my wall.
