Mango ja passion löytyy kyllä, mutta valitettavasti tylsä/5

An attractive looking set of ruby berries in the pic? Don't eat them, they are poisonous. The plant is called European fly honeysuckle. Should I try them in brewing...? Eh, probably not though. The Internet reveals that, in addition to being poisonous, the berries taste rather acrid. Ok, I'll bury this idea now.
But the beer. It's fully edible, hopefully also palatable. Looks impenetrable, bright black. The carbonation is relatively reticent as it produces a moderate latte-hued head. The foamy crown melts soon to a decent lace ring.
The nose receives ground coffee beans, roasted malt, licorice and burned sawdust. Somewhat later, when the beer is warmer, I start spotting distant raw cacao powder in the background.
The cacao nibs grow more copious on the tastebuds. Licorice lingers neatly on both sides of the tongue. Coffee is almost absent and camouflaged in a sweeter wrapping. Lactose maybe? As if also an undisguised hint of vanilla. Roasted but not actually burned, definitely not charred.
The body is full. The tail waves softly with pretty much the same familiar constellation as upfront. Sweet-leaning. Sweetness actually intensifies reasonably toward the end. The aftertaste got a spaceship, comе get in it for the ride of your life; Jan's gonna take you to the moon.
The mouthfeel is full, soft, smooth, definitely lip-glueing and a tad desserty. Balanced and pleasant. A good piece.

Semi-hapanta. Mango ainakin maistui reilusti.
Edellisen jälkeen vähän yksiulotteinen, mutta hyvä sour kuitenkin.
Tölkissä abv on 7%.

Hedelmäinen, maltainen ja hieman leipäinen. Hyvää.
