The nose receives ground coffee beans, roasted malt, licorice and burned sawdust. Somewhat later, when the beer is warmer, I start spotting distant raw cacao powder in the background. The cacao nibs grow more copious on the tastebuds. Licorice lingers neatly on both sides of the tongue. Coffee is almost absent and camouflaged in a sweeter wrapping. Lactose maybe? Hieman siirappisen makea, kermainen ja hennon tervainen. Katkeroa on sen verran että makeus kääntyy kuivaksi jälkimaussa.
