Diese Flasche habe ich beim Aufräumen gefunden. MHD 06/23 aber durch die 11,1% hat es noch bis heute gehalten. 😅
N: Karamell, Malz und dunkle Waldbeeren
T: Beginnt karamell-süßlich, dreht dann in ins hopfig-bittere ab mit dunkler Brotkruste.
F: Ewig langer Abgang. Auch hier bleibt eine malzige Bitterkeit

Moving to a couple of Wit’s. This has a light coriander with light orange taste. A little spicy. Honestly this is okay but it’s very weak tasting. If it had a little more to it, it would be pretty decent.

This has a strong bourbon taste, medium vanilla with some light oak, chocolate, caramel and coffee. Very boozy tasting.
A nice bourbon barrel that’s a bit boozy tasting.

I haven’t had many Belgium stouts so I’m intrigued. This has a dark fruit taste that is candied leaning towards raisin & black cherry. Has some light chocolate. Has some very light dark roasted malt - seems a little muted by the candied sweetness in this one.
Overall it’s pretty good but a little sweet for me. It is like a quad / stout hybrid.
James S - I followed your ABV level order tonight for S & G’s.

Found some beers that I never posted. This trip was to The Tap House in Chattanooga on October 5th 2021 with my neighbor Ben.
Number four on a flight of six. Deep copper color. Almost clear. Spicy aroma. First impression is definitely cinnamon blended with some spice. Midway through, the pumpkin arrives blending perfectly. Very subtle sweetness on the low end. Finish adds moderate low level bitterness in a very pleasant way. This is like Thanksgiving in a glass. One of the best pumpkin beers I've had.

Smooth and refreshing, not a strong alcohol profile for being 9.3%
