Meeting at Rockn Roll Sushi with my son and family getting ready for the Christmas parade. They actually have a few good beers here. I've had this before but I'm trying it again. Super high and very frothy head, it's really lasting. Sweet malt aroma, I blend of chocolate that reminds me of European chocolate. Smooth texture but not as heavy as I expected. Milk chocolate with the addition of a complimentary hazelnut in the background makes for a very nice combination. I like it better than I did last time.

At my son's house watching the Alabama football 🏈 game. Roll Tide 🐘!!! These Pastry Archy beers are inconsistent, some good, some not. Nice chocolate head. Has gold flakes on the bottom of the glass. Aroma of dark chocolate and thick malt. Medium heavy texture with a crisp semisweet dry mouthfeel. Flavor follows with a dry bittersweet dark chocolate. No artificial flavoring. Smooth dark chocolate has a quality character and needs no flavors to accompany it. Not fancy, not complex. Sometimes simple is all you need.

Having this Duclaw beer with pizza. Strange to call it simply Regular Beer. Anyway, it's a solid hazy yellow, has a bit of a tart aroma. Snow white head but now it's gone. Solid texture but still stays crisp. It's a light lager, notes of ripe lemon and clover honey. Finally, in the finish, I get a small amount of tartness that was in the aroma. Is this a great beer, no. Not sure it was made to be. It is tasty and very drinkable and goes well with my pizza. I will gladly I have another of this very enjoyable brew.

Strangest beer I’ve tasted… I bought it clearly for the name! I will most definitely not be clacking this again…. It’s a one off.

Out to dinner with my son at The Rail Public House. Been a long time since it was just the two of us. Nice. Short head, beautiful yellow color, light foggy haze. Aroma has peanut butter and a little vanilla. Sweet milk chocolate begins the flavor with a creamy peanut butter right behind. Light bitterness in the finish. No alcohol present. Not quite as powerful of flavor as its dark malty cousins but a nice twist on their Sweet Baby series.

Tasty. Not what I was expecting - but then again I’m not sure what I was expecting. Smooth. Real notes of chocolate/peanut butter. I like it. Will buy it again.
