Just cooked dinner so decided on a dessert beer to end my dark night.
This has a lot of fudge and chocolate that has a rich fudge brownie taste. It also has a little coconut and hints of vanilla. It is mainly sweet but does have a little bitterness. Has a medium thickness.
This was nice and rich tasting.
There is a BA version of this I’d love to try if I can find it.
Canned date 10/31/25.

Christmas Advent beer #7. This is quite malty that has a dark bread, toffee and very light honey taste. It has a touch of spice where I get a little cinnamon or nutmeg. It was nutmeg in the beginning, then some cinnamon and has the combo as I finish. Has a dry finish.
At first sip I was a little put off with this. I think the Belgium style beer I had before it skewed me. When I got a few sips in the taste really turned for me. Overall it is on the sweet side with touch of spice to it. It’s a borderline 4 as I finish up but didn’t quite hit that mark to me.
Date is 10/10/25 on the can.
I was curious about what the true style of this beer so did a little digging. I found it as a dunkel, a bock, dark lager and a winter warmer. I think I’m more confused than before I checked.

This says summer lager but it lists its a festbier on the can. Did a double up.
This has cereal grains, bready malt with some honey. Has some citrus that leans towards lemon and grapefruit but it’s very subtle. Light floral hops but this definitely leans towards the malty side.
The honey makes its presence more as it warms. This was nice. A little sweet.

This is a summer wheat lager. I listed as a wheat ale. This is wheaty, light banana and clove. Has a quite bready malt to it. Also get some orange that gets more prominent as you get further in.
This was nice. It’s like a Hefe light. Good for a summer beer.

This maybe named Modern Hefe but it tastes old school to me. It’s very wheaty with a banana, light bubblegum and light clove taste. Has a just a hint of citrus that leans towards orange.
Pretty good for an American Hefe.
Canned 3/6/25.
