Good solid beer. Notably, I preferred it to the upmarket ‘sale’ version. Good beer, solid and similar to its competitors.

The most disappointing drink I’ve had in Palermo. Apparently the ‘sale’ is supposed to keep you cool on the hottest of days. But it was just to heavy, malty, and it wasn’t a patch on the normal Messina. For the premium, very disappointing.

From what I can see the reviews are pretty poor for this stuff. But I liked it. Not as gassy as others and an easy drink. And the price was fantastic too. We’re not in Spanish lager territory but it’s definitely good.
