Paahteinen, odotin ehkä enemmän savuisuutta, viskisyys (ja makeus) sopivan maltillinen. Oikein jees näiden lajityyppien ystävälle. Hissukseen nautiskellen 👌🤤

Muddy, deep chestnut brown beer with shy carbonation builds a latte-hued moussy head that grows mere half a finger tall. Still, the retention seems to be long, at least a whipped-creamy lace ring circles on the top for quite some time. Moldy traces float in the center. Copious fig, some date and raisin as well as dried dark plum feature nicely in the air. Sweet syrup and brown sugar accompany the dried-fruity cocktail. That's how it starts. Then the vibe turns to cacao nibs and moderate cookie. Quite sweet but not too simple though. The tastebuds like the multifaceted flavor medley that is composed of dried fig, date, dried plum, raisin – to start with –, and cacao nibs, brown biscuit and oat flakes, to complete. Alcohol can be felt but not really tasted, which is welcome. The body is medium-full. However, 11% should offer only one thing: fullness. The end intensifies the alcoholic touch and brings resinous hops that, together, substitute for the earlier dried fruits. Anne and Jacques kissed on the cover of a magazine, the picture said "smack"; Anne and Jacques, the aftertaste was like Donald Duck. The mouthfeel is medium-full, moderately sticky, marginally alcoholic, warming. Pretty standard, meets the style criteria and offers a bit of dimensions but not very sensational.
