Als Erstbewertung ein Geschenk von Freunden aus deren Slowenien-Urlaub - das Triglav Triumph Ale. Trüb goldgelb und mit Hefebröckchen gluckert es ohne Perlage ins Glas. Die feine Schaumkrone ist mäßig hoch und verweilt dann lange fingerbreit. Der Duft ist hopfig vielseitig - mit grasigen Anklängen, Maracuja/Solero-Eis, etwas Honig und einem tropischen Potpourri. Der Antrunk folgt der Nase, allerdings wirkt das Ale eher wie ein Amateur-Sud - etwas dünn, abgestanden und fad, ohne Carbonisierung. Geschmacklich an sich gut, aber es fehlt an Prickeln und Crispness - und zwar deutlich, um ernst genommen zu werden. Handwerklich müsste ich es niedriger bewerten - die Hopfenwahl reißt es etwas hinauf.

Meal accompaniment. First time with Vizir Brewery. It's the oldest craft brewery in 🇸🇮 Lucid amber is this mister. Builds a creamy head up to one finger. The foamy crown dissipates quickly to a neat lace ring and a fragile haze on the top. Grapefruit pith and peel shake hands with orange peel, biscuit and dough in the scent. The tastebuds get easily along with grapefruit pith, orange peel, weak resin, biscuit and a malty kick. The mouthfeel is light, slightly crisp, zesty and pithy. Easy and unchallenging but nice.
