Conwy Brewery
Llysfaen, Wales

We were the first brewery in Conwy for over 100 years when we were established and we reached our tenth anniversary milestone in 2013. We specialise in cask & bottle conditioned ales of the highest quality with probably the best range of ales in North Wales. At our new premises in Llysfaen we have installed a new 25BBl brewery designed by Brendan Dobbin, the brewing engineer behind the Firkin brewpubs. We have a strong core range, seasonal specials and we have innovated with our new brand, West Coast Brewing to showcase modern beer styles with California, Riptide Black IPA, Surfin IPA and San Francisco so far and more planned in the future.

A refreshing Welsh golden ale that is light and thirst quenching with a thick white head. Features tropical fruit aromas, sweet malts and a gentle hoppy bitterness, using hops like First Gold, Cascade, Citra and Ekuanot. With a slightly hazy taste and a crisp spicy aftertaste, this is an easy drinking beer for the spring weather!

Honey flavour, sweet and fairly malty. Nice porter but a bit too sweet.

Again, you need to like honey coz it's in it big time! Very sweet, but fair do's, the roasted porter flavour peeps through. I'd consider it desert & finish on this brew.
