Kelpoo perus-ipsukkaa.

Orange mit feinen Schwebstoffen und wenig haltbarem Schaum. Die Nase ist relativ typisch, gelbes Obst wie Mirabelle und Aprikose. Beim Trinken dann die Ernüchterung, es geht erst vollmundig los und bekommt dann mit Verzögerung eine würzige Note die nicht wirklich passt. Auch das Obst schwenkt um zur Orange, aber überreif, dazu das würzige mit leichter Schärfe. Leicht alkoholisch im Abgang. Ich habe zwar die Beschreibung auf der Dose gelesen mit dem spicy Kick und auch der Name verspricht ja eine moderne Version, aber erst jetzt sehe ich das Orangenschale und Koriander verbraut wurden. Für mich kein Zugewinn.

Schönes leckeres Stout. Die Schärfe im Abgang ist auch zu schmecken. Das macht es zu einem schönen Tasting-Erlebnis, aber irgendwie würde es mir vermutlich ohne Peperoni besser schmecken.

Terrible pour from this one that made me think the can might be past its best. Too much foam dominates the pour and it ends up taking a few tries. The foam dissipated just as quick as it rose and left a another hazy, straw yellow body, with ultimately trace amounts. Scent is bitter lemon, sweet lime and a tiny trace of mango afterwards. All the other profiles settle down and at the end the lemon comes right back around, even more intense this time. Mouthfeel is very fresh and crisp. Lots of carbonation in the light body and a tart bite that itself is quickly swamped by a rush of sugary sweetness. Taste is a nice combination of all the other factors, intense lemon, slight lime and tones of added sugar. The mango from the scent doesn't feature in the taste and the beer starts to distance itself from the ipa title but it 100% fulfills the 'lemonade' aspect. An alcoholic lemonade, perfect for summer.

Nice and lively pour, very effervescent with the tonnes of bubbles erupting inside the glass, although not even a trace of foam to be had. Scents of lemony citrus and funky mango dominate with little room for anything else. Mouthfeel is crisp with tonnes of bite and intense, sharp sourness courses through, at first. However rapidly the carbonation dulled, with the mouthfeel shifting to a more juicy profile and the sour bite moving to the end. Taste is sharp lemon and sweet mango. It's a sort of tugowar between the two until it all passes together gently. Great sour at first but really lost it's steam in the second half.
