It's Halloween! 🎃 Having this Halloween inspired blood orange double IPA. Fantastic Halloween artwork on the can. A duo beer that Ryan found even though it's from New Orleans.
Strong orange and lemon aroma, a touch of pine in the background after opening the can. Poured with a modest head, yellow orange in color and hazy but not opaque. Texture is surprisingly creamy and soft. Flavor is orange juice, no more lemon, and a confectionery sugar sweetness. Not a refined sugar but something more like a powdered sugar. A very modest level of hop bitterness. Late in the finish a resinous pine appears but in a balanced and subdued manner.
I enjoy the citrus IPAs that have a low bitterness level. Very drinkable and not one of the challenging hopped up beers. I like this.

Having this as a three beer flight with family at Blackstone. Light yellow and very hazy. Grapefruit aroma. The taste -can't really tell it's a beer. Very refreshing, light, easy to drink. No alcohol apparent. Great summertime beer. Perfect for the beach, swimming pool, or lake.

Decent drink. Nice fruity aroma. Fruity taste with a nice hoppiness mixed in. Slight sweetness to finish but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale.

The JDW version. It's a bit thin for a 5% but actually it's rather hoppy.
