Ryan set me up with a video camera so that I could enjoy the huge party he's going to at Whiskey River Ranch where my niece is turning 60. Hail the Head SOT. Really wish I could be there but San Antonio is about 16 hours away. Anyway I'm going to have a Texas beer with them. Never had this Amber so it's perfect for this tonight. Wasn't able to get too much head even though I poured it down the middle of the glass. Color is a deep antique brass, you know what I mean that heavy color. It's definitely Amber but super sweet for this category. Lot of caramel, easy on the malt, has a cool crispness to it. I wish it had a little bit more of a rustic or roasted quality but it's okay.
