It pours a dark brown colour, showing Ruby at the edges in the light, with a cream coloured head. Aroma and flavour are malty. Tastes like a superior Newcastle Brown Ale.

Back in the mid-eighties I was contracting in Hartlepool, an Essex boy miles from home and out of his depth! I started drinking in The Causeway pub which backed onto Cameron's Brewery, initially a Hansa Larger drinker it didn't take the locals long to get me on the Strongarm Bitter, my very first ale (58p a pint if I remember rightly) Great pub, great beer and great people, three years of my life I fondly remember. I don't recall seeing any Cameron's beer this end of the world so imagine my surprise when I saw this at the local Wetherspoon. An easy drinker, hoppy, fruity with a very pleasant citrus tang to it. A wonderful trip down memory lane, can't see it lasting long so....... Pint please! and keep them coming.
