At the brewery with my son-in-law enjoying another beer on tap. Surprised to find it on the website until I realized that I am the one that put it on here, having an enjoyed it in the can. Not today, on tap, on site. Enjoying half of an 8 oz sample. Deep yellow, lightly hazy. Has a grapefruit aroma. Flavor is more hops, bitter, with the grapefruit slowly appearing in the middle. Second sip brings more grapefruit and less hops. Good.

At Five Stones with my son-in-law having a quiet afternoon with no kids enjoying some local brews. Orange aroma, very lightly hazy, deep yellow color. Flavor is pure, unadulterated orange juice. Has an expected hop bitterness, but on the mild side so that it appeals to me. Finish adds a level of hop bitterness but the overall flavor is consistent and excellent.

With son-in-law at Five Stones enjoying another one of their local beers. Orange hazy color. Aroma of pineapple and a tropical flare. Bitter beginning, lots of hops but not overly bitter. Pineapple is dominant and has minor mango behind.

At five Stones brewery having some delicious Texas beers on tap. Deep yellow color and lightly hazy. The aroma is pure strawberry jam. Flavor has strawberry but dominated by yeast with some lemon added in the middle.

At Five Stones with my son-in-law trying out some local Texas cuisine. Can't say enough about how nice the people are here. Start talking beer and, next thing you know, they give you a taste of a beer directly from the vat that still isn't finished being carbonated. I listed this Kolsch as .1% because I have no idea what it is. Still not available to the public. Taste should be the same but maybe a little flat because all of the carbonation hasn't been induced. What a rare treat for the two of us. Deep yellow color, may lighten up once more carbonation is added. Lightly hazy. Strong wheat flavor. Has a minor amount of sweetness and turns dry during the finish. Also turns a little tart. I've enjoyed many wheat beers before, but nothing has ever seen so much of a pure wheat as this. Could not detect any other flavors at all. Excellent beer and hope I have time to come back and have the fully carbonated version.

At Five Stones with the son-in-law having beer direct from the brewery. Deep yellow color, clear. First taste is of the pineapple, a tart green Granny Smith apple, and the most dominant flavor is black pepper. Jalapenos show up late in the finish as a sting deep in the throat. Nice jalapeno flavor but the kick comes late. This is a very interesting beer, really like it but there's no way I could drink several of these. This is definitely a Texas Brew.

At Five Stones with my son-in-law. This Manmosa is a light sour brute with orange but dominated by a pith dryness. Well carbonated.

At Five Stones Brewery in New Braunfels Texas with family. Trying the last of the six stouts offered. Texture is velvet with light medium body. Very dry and bittersweet. Deep roasted charded malt that has a maple bark quality. Smooths out during the finish. Simple is good.

At Five Stones Brewery in New Braunfels Texas with family. Enjoying my fifth Stout of the six stouts offered. Dark brown color, opaque. Medium thick texture. Very sweet, soft notes of chocolate. An unusual cherry flavor. Not sure what a Bolton Cherry tastes like. Talked with one of the brewers and she says they used real cherries from California. Explained the process of cleaning and preparing them for the Stout. Appreciate her taking time to do that. Add that to a strong deep roasted malt and some brown sugar. Never really got the chocolate.

At Five Stones Brewery in New Braunfels Texas with family. Enjoying the fourth Stout of their six stouts that are offered. Coffee aroma. Smooth crisp texture. Flavor of strong roasted French coffee. No sweetness detected. Add a late bittersweet quality that smooths out the finish.
