Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. It’s an “espresso bean double brown ale”. This definitely has a medium + espresso/black coffee taste that is almost burnt. Also has some light caramel, roasted nuttiness that is definitely roasted chestnuts (I think that is a first in a beer for me). I’m also getting a light bourbon taste even tho it doesn’t say it’s a bourbon barrel. A pronounced enough taste that I immediately checked the can.
All I can say is yum.
Here it is with my potato picks from the garden today. I planted 1 red potato & 4 russet in the spring - this was the outcome.

Tasty coffee brown ale. I can't wait to find the bourbon barrel aged version again. 4.25/5

Coffee, caramel and breadiness galore in the taste. Reminiscent of Sumatra Mountain Brown. I may do a side by side review at some point.

Coffee aroma. Taste has bitter, roasty coffee. Fairly reminiscent of Sumatra Mountain Brown from Founders. Tasty coffee brown ale. 4/5

Drinkable but not very well balanced. Coffee had a weird back note to it. Could be maltier.

Lots of caramel with some coffee following behind it. A nuttiness in there that is pretty good. Overall a very good brown. 3.75/5
