Hazy, amber beer with restrained carbonation creates modest, half a finger, white, creamy head that soon settles down to thin lace ring. The scent is generally speaking subdued, offering thin lemon, a pinch of orange peel and a dollop of Finnish mead. An extraordinarily remote note of honey can barely be detected behind the curtain. The tongue is treated with watery lemon, a tad bitter orange and de-sweetened Finnish mead. A faint nuance of wheat bread and an equally weak aroma of yeast accompany the slightly musty, citrusy palate. Honey lingers distantly in the background. The light-bodied beer ends relatively quickly with noticeably thin bitter lemon, coarse lemon peel, a tad yeast and a wheaty note. Mouthfeel is light, slightly tart, a bit flat, faintly earthy and somewhat closed.
