Twa Dogs brewery makes some really nice brews and this is no exception. Beautiful red hues shimmer as the light passes through the glass. The head which was thick but moderate is already fading back into itself. Malty aromas gently warm the nose with scents such as dark caramel, dried fruit, oak, and cola. A soft full body rides easily on the tongue and delivers big malty flavours. Slightly sweet, it offers up dark grainy caramel, dried fruit, raisin, a woodiness, cherry licorice, and a rather warming boozy taste for only 6.5%. A comforting cozy beer big on taste. Very good.
