Hawse Buckler bursts with chocolate, raisin and dark malt aromas. A short fuse of sweet fruit and roast malt is eclipsed by an explosion of complex spice and coffee malt flavours leading to an irreversible dry, spicy, bitter finish.

Chocolate aromas lead the way to a very enjoyable coffee and raisin flavour. You would be forgiven for thinking this beer was stronger than 5.6 ABV. Enjoyable.
