Aromas as big as the collaborators list. I'm getting citrus, orange zest, mango, and stone fruit. Just as I think I'm picking up some other fruits, an alcohol scent adds itself to a dried fruit note, possibly plum. Coming up from the bottom floor, a decent maltiness Shakes hands with some yeast spiciness before getting down to work with all the other scents. It's is pretty smooth considering how much is going on. The malt flavours really do the heavy lifting. Caramel, nut, vanilla, and bread. *(edit: I think that I'm getting the darker notes from the yeast and alcohol rather than the malts)Riding on the malts shoulders the hops bring their mild fruitiness and a bit of bitterness to brighten the work space and allow the yeast to add it's spiciness and some tiny suggestions of esters to finish it all off nicely. Honestly, I am far too under qualified to review this beer, and for me to do so would be a grievous injustice to it. Well done everyone involved. P.S. I don't know about anyone else, but the price point on this beer where I bought it was unexpectedly low.
